(ALPL), established in 1989 at Ashta, Sangli district, Maharashtra, is a leading manufacturer of Graded Grey Iron and Spheroidal Graphite Iron (Ductile Iron) finished components. With state-of-the-art foundry and machining facilities, ALPL serves diverse industries including Automotive, Off Highway Vehicles, and Industrial Applications, delivering precision, reliability, and value to global customers.

OUR INFRASTRUCTURE
ALPL is equipped with world-class manufacturing infrastructure, featuring a state-of-the-art foundry and a modern machining division. These facilities enable the company to produce high-quality Cast Iron and Ductile Iron castings and precision-machined components for diverse industrial applications including Automotive, Off Highway Vehicles, and Industrial Applications.
Foundry
ALPL’s foundry is a state-of-the-art facility with a monthly capacity of 1,500 MT of good castings. It is equipped with advanced processes such as Sand Preparation, Green Sand Moulding (HP ML), Induction Melting, Core Making, Auto Pouring, Knock out, Fettling, Shot Blasting, and Painting. These processes ensure consistent quality and efficiency across every stage of casting production.
To maintain world-class standards, the foundry is backed by comprehensive in-house inspection and testing facilities. This includes a Spectrometer for chemical composition analysis, BHN Machine for hardness testing, Tensile Testing Machine, Sand Testing Equipment (GCS Machine, Permeability Tester, Compactibility Tester), Green Sand Control System, CE Analyser, Microscopic Inspection, Sonic Analysis Testing, and MPI Inspection for Pressure Plates. These facilities enable ALPL to guarantee reliability and performance in every casting delivered.
Machining Facility
The machining division at ALPL is equipped with a wide range of precision equipment including CNC, VMC, HMC, VTL, SPM, complemented by advanced automation for accuracy and efficiency. The machine shop integrates special-purpose machines to handle complex machining requirements while ensuring flexibility and speed.
In addition, the shop is supported by modern inspection and quality systems such as Washing Machines, Barcode Machines, Laser Marking Machines, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), Multi Gauging, Auto Gauging, Contracer Machine, and Milipore Facility. This strong infrastructure allows ALPL to deliver precision-machined components that meet global OEM standards.
